The Guandu Regional Command of the 6th Army conducted a reconnaissance patrol exercise to ensure combat readiness on Feb. 14.
Early Monday morning, guandu regional command’s readiness unit performed various tasks, including loading equipment, vehicle testing and testing communications equipment, the military news agency reported.
Once the soldiers have reached their destination, they join other units and perform an exercise to protect designated key locations in a simulated enemy attack.
Guandu Regional Command had earlier held a combat readiness exercise ahead of the Lunar New Year on January 26. During that exercise, the military practiced a series of command processes and conducted a long-distance operation.
